Our specialized recycling service focuses on the sustainable disposal and repurposing of polyurethane (PU) and polyester (PE) climbing holds. Traditional holds, when discarded, contribute to landfill waste due to their non-biodegradable nature. Our process mitigates this by collecting, processing, and repurposing used holds into new applications.
How it’s done:
Collection & Sorting: We accept climbing holds from gyms, manufacturers, and individuals. Holds are sorted by material type to ensure efficient processing.
Mechanical Breakdown: Holds are crushed into fine granules, which are then used for creating new composite materials. Polyurethane holds undergo a separate processing method, where they are ground down and incorporated into secondary products.
Reintegration: Recycled materials are repurposed for use in new holds, reducing reliance on virgin plastics.
